Our country through the blessings of Kenchhosum, the dharma king, and the shared merit of all the people, we are blessed with peace and happiness.However, due to the recent COVID -19 ,our country has also been affected . We are indebted and grateful to His Majesty for his tireless and selfless efforts to overcome the pandemic.We are also thankful to the Royal Government of Bhutan, the health workers , armed forces , dessups, and many others at the frontline risking in helping to combat COVID-19.
In this regard , His Eminence Gangtrul Rinpoche, Kunzang Rinzin Pema Namgyal and Padling Choeki Ga Tshal Foundation( 39 goendeys, staffs, members , dharma sponsors within the country and abroad , and well-wishers )offered a sum of Ngultrum two million only(2,00,00,00) , one million towards HM’s Kidu Fund for COVID -19 and one million towards PMO’s COVID-19 Response Fund on 30th March 2020 by the Vice President, Lopen Drudra Jamtsho, Secretary General, Dasho Sherub Tenzin and the Accounts personal, Lopen Sangay Thinley. This modest offering was made with our heartfelt prayers and wishes to prevent and contain COVID-19 at the global and especially in our country . This is also our humble gesture to pay our deepest gratitude and an act of solidarity to the Nation during this troubled time. We are confident with the blessings of Kenchosum and the guidance of the great Dharma King, we shall overcome the pandemic without much obstacles. We are further committed to support the Nation in difficult times in whatsoever capacity we can.
Under the directive of His Eminence Gangtrul Rinpoche and through Rinpoche’ s personal funding , many kurims are being conducted in all 39 Goendeys under Padling Choeki Ga Tshal Foundation since the outbreak of COVID-19 in China and kurims are performed in continuation to prevent and contain the pandemic .
